Computer Science Teacher - Full-Time, Long-Term Position
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £34,398 - £46,839 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

We are working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Watford to recruit a passionate and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026.

This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong interest in technology and computing who is keen to inspire young people and prepare them for an increasingly digital future.


• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
• Plan and teach engaging lessons that develop problem-solving, coding, and analytical skills
• Support students in developing practical computing skills, including programming and digital literacy
• Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration of new technologies
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, shared resources, and best practice
• Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities such as coding clubs and tech challenges


• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (preferred but not essential)
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge in programming, algorithms, and digital technologies
• Ability to inspire students and foster a passion for computing
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Committed to developing students' technical skills and future career readiness
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
